A personal guide to Spanish, from Peru to Kansas.

Hola, I'm Flor. I'm a native Spanish speaker from Lima, Peru, now based in Colby, Kansas. I teach one-to-one online lessons for people who want to use Spanish with more confidence—in everyday life, travel, work, books, and meaningful conversation.

My love of teaching began when my American daughter-in-law asked me for help learning Spanish. I was happy to share resources and plenty of speaking practice. Later, I volunteered at a Colorado language school as a Spanish conversation partner and Peruvian culture advocate.

I combine practical conversation with clear grammar when it helps. Beginners can receive explanations in English, while every learner gets a patient pace, thoughtful preparation, and room to speak.

My background includes grammar and literature studies at San Martín de Porres University in Lima while pursuing a Journalism degree. I have also owned a business and worked in finance. Since 2017, I have taught Spanish online with a structured, personal approach.
